SPAIN SPAIN SPAIN!!!!

Hello everyone. It's been a good week so far, handed in my coursework yesterday! So that's a BIG burden lifted off my shoulders. Well I think the good thing about this essay's that we started preparations a lot earlier than we normally do (i.e the night before), so it wasn't all that stressful. (For opposing view, please read Lord Lee's judgment) =)

On a MUCH happier note, Barecelona's this Friday!!! Finally the long awaited holiday's here. Remembered booking it with the rest almost 5 months back! And it's here!! Amazing mann! I think more so for the girls, we were just talking about what we should do there, and decided that we HAD to shop on the first day, since that gave us the best use of our time. And the girls were a little scared, not too good to be broke on the first day yah? Heh!

Have you guys watched the movie SAW? I think it's an excellent movie - but be warned, it is gruesome. Very interesting twist at the end. If you wanna scare, go for it! Too bad there isn't much TV on these days. OC's on a break, Southpark is taking ages to come back, and our stoopid internet's taking a long time to get Desperate Housewives. Sigh.

Been under the weather recently, think the erratic weather's not helping. Been having this cough for almost a week now, and I'm not suppose to exercise during this period, according to Dr Ngiam. BUT I think I should be exercising, just at a lower intensity lahh. Feeling very sluggish lahh. How how how?

Anyways, here are the photos for MSN. Didn't put everything up cos' there's just way too many. But yeah, a few to capture the moments. =)

Post MSN.

So the event well went, at least in my opinion, and the hard work of every committee member paid off! It's finally time to sit back and relax, enjoy the remainder of the term and ACTUALLY start working hard again. But before all that, some photos to get those taste buds working!

Had a wonderful reunion dinner at the girls' place. Check out the FOOD!!!!!

Then came along Xun's 21st. I was like the decoy for her birthday surprise. I don't know why I'm also doing all the surprise thingy, was tasked to get her out of her house whilst the rest of them put up nice cute decorations for her. Sigh was a lost of what to do with her! Couldn't take her out to eat cos' we were all heading down to Mayflower after for supper and you know how it is yah? Bristol at 7pm is as good as dead.

Well amidst the hectic schedules, I managed to squeeze in London over the weekend. That was really good, needed the break before MSN came. Met up with some relatives and family friends. Wanted to catch Billy Elliot but it was closed on Sundays!! Sigh. Oh wells, did some cooking on the last night instead. Here we go!

So Much Has Happened.

I don't really know where to start. I've been back in Bristol for almost 3 weeks now and it's just been one big rush since. I'm really glad that Guys and Dolls is over, I get my nights back. It's been night after night and just can't seem to get back on track with anything else. But yeah, been resting pretty well since, now with the Malaysian Singaporean Night on its way!

The stage of Guys and Dolls

Well my latest crazy must be Sudoku. And I think I've made it pretty obvious to all around me. Heh! Chongwee and Ribena got me one at the airport so that I could play on the plane. But they got me this REALLY advanced one, saying that it should be easy for me given that I did F-Maths last time?!?! No link mann...

The good old primitive way of doing things - I like!

Well if that wasn't enough, my two sisters got me the same thing as well. Sudoku in electronic form. Super power lahh, makes funny sounds when you get a puzzle right or wrong. But with both, I had plenty of puzzles to keep me occupied for the entire 13 hour duration. =)

The high tech version

I acquired a few new items to my collection of music stuff. Let me introduce the first new friend - I don't know his name but I know what he does. He helps keep the distance away from the microphone consistent and keeps away excessive sounds out from being recorded. It's been fun cos' it looks good and more importantly, PROFESSIONAL.

Feels more like a studio now huh!

Alright this is the newest toy in the market. It's to replace my trusty Korg that has been around for 12 years now. It's getting a little cranky, and the technology is WAY behind. So this new Roland's here to take over! This is an amazing instrument! Firstly, it's weighted keys - all 88 of them. Secondly, it has about 1000 different sounds in them and lastly and most importantly, it is able to function both in auxillary and MIDI mode. That allows me to do simultaneous recordings with different inputs! It's perfect! It's also relatively portable (15kg) and the sound is fantastic! Check it out!!!

Wells in the spirit of Chinese New Year, I've changed my bedsheets and pillow casings to suit the festive occasion. Of course not forgetting the pineapple tarts that Wendy's grandma made for me, and the little peanut puffs that I brought back, it did feel pretty good this year. Had a nice little reunion dinner with friends, prepared Mango Duck and Lap Cheong with egg! Photos to come, still stuck in Xun's camera!

There's so much more I wanna mention, but I shall wait for the photos, it's always easier to tell things with pictures. =) Oh yes, will be performing some jazz material at the MSSA dinner with 4 others. Managed to get a singer and a drummer to join the JT Trio. And thanks to Wendy who painstakingly put a whole list of jaz standards for me! You're the best!

Wells will update more regularly soon! Off to London tmrw for a much needed break!
