Back In Bristol. So the holiday has come to an end and it's back to school. I must admit that this could, by far, be the busiest term I've had so far (academically speaking of course!). Loads and loads of essays to hand up this term, of which many of them are counted. So I guess I gotta cut back on a lot of my
other activities and focus on my work.
The Christmas break was fantastic. One of the best best best! Had such a good time with the old ACMG crew AND also with the councillors. The councillors make me feel SO young. Well we headed back to HC for O1 and it's pretty amazing how far we've come since our term in HC!
Anyways photos photos photos!!

Admittedly, the bulk of the councillors are from ECACO. Long live ECACO!!

So Chong Wee brought this GIGANORMOUS camera (much bigger than even the HC school photographer!) and managed to get this really nice photo of us doing the mass dance. =)
We went thru' the photo routine, song session, dance session, the light-up and council mass dance session after. Pretty pretty cool. We embarked on this let's-do-a-grp-jumping-shot thingy after and I think this might be the best of the lot.

Trust me, we tried MANY MANY times. Ribena seemed to have had some problems with the coordination. I dunno. Something about lawyers and numbers you know? Heh!

Presenting the Song I/Cs!!

27th Students' Council.
We headed to Jiamin's for post O1 celebrations. We opted for Pictionary but didn't have the board, so Isaac decided that we should draw one instead, which turned out pretty nice AND fun too!!

Oh yes, I included some snakes and ladders stuff too. And some chicken-dance penalty; a little like the one we had in Budapest. Jonny boy? =)

After almost a whole night of insane fun, Chong Wee and Wendy emerged as winners. Congratulations!! In between, they took a few photos as well, as required by the board rules. Heh! Just plain retarded lahh.
Anyways for the less privileged ones, here's how the Chicken Dance is done in 4 simple steps.
Step (1)

Hands raised till ear level and do twinkle twinkle little star action.
Step (2)

Bend elbows and proceed with a chicken-like action.
Step (3)

Shake backside and look like you're having a lot of fun.
Step (4)

Clap like you've never done before
So there, part one of the chicken dance demonstrated for you! Anyways guys, really looking forward to the day where we can all chill together again. But first, Isaac, you need to quit your job in NY and come home. =)

Boys And Girls. There's something about the council people that I love - the fact that we're all young despite the numerical escalation. Oh wells, we had a nice dinner at La Chateau, a Western restaurant at The Pines, and totally made a fool of ourselves by making so much noise and acting like boys and girls. I like. =)

Perhaps if you're not convinced, here's a classic. Kenneth thru' two wine glasses - whatever that is suppose to mean. =)

So poor Merly couldn't join us as she was working really hard to finish up her work at PWC (I think they are overworking her!) and Siau and Jiamin are still away on holiday in UK and KL respectively. Zibin joined us a little later after learning that his basketball match had been cancelled. So there, the whole family (minus the above-mentioned) taken after a nice nice dinner.

Some other photos. The girl from EDB, the boy from UK and the girl from SGH - ECACO rules!!!!

Towards the end, it was quite evident that some were high on the little wine we had and that's when the photo whoring began. Anyways here's one with Zibin too. =)

I really love this photo. Ribena, Suzie, Ms Ngiamngiam.

Ms Ngiamngiam taking a photo with her half-stroked handphone. Diana thinks it's an occupational hazard. We all think so too. Anyways we headed to PS Cafe at Dempseys after dinner for dessert. AMAZING I must say!! The desserts were FANTASTIC. Seriously, you need to try them out!! Look below if not convinced.

Mr Cheow and Mr Wee introducing the best of the desserts - the Mango Banana Crumble. I think that's what it is called!

Ms Ribena Berry introducing the Summer Berry Cake. Haha how apt her name!

Can't remember but I think this is some super double chocolate cake. Extremely fattening BUT SO SO GOOD. Seriously.

Sorry I'm so lousy with names. I think this is some Butter Pecan pie with almonds. Something like that lahh. Well in my humble opinion, in which it is submitted that Ms Ribena would agree, the Carrot Cake was good! Sorry no photo but yeah, give it a go!

More and more pictures coming. ECACO and SNR. Still outnumbered. =) Heh!

Ms Ribena and Mr Wee.

Mr Lin and Ms Ngiamngiam.
Thank you Lord for seeing both of us couples thru' the years. It's truly amazing how You've helped us stand the test of time. Anyways anyways, trying to catch up on my blogging. So stay tuned for more. Last week in Singapore and it's back to Bristol for the cold cold winter. =(

The Trip To USA. I've finally managed to get the photos for the US trip. Hmm was just flipping thru' all of them and I've concluded that LA and Vegas are two very good places to go for a short family vacation. =) Anyways quite a few photos coming up, so happy viewing!!

We spent a whole day at Universal Studios, LA. Things haven't changed much since I was last there 5 years ago. The thing that I really appreciated was the tour we had for the earlier part of the day. We were given a tour on the different places where films were made (ie sound studios, props and more...) Oh yes, on the part to Mysterial Lane, we met Eva Longoria!! What a pleasant surprise!! =)

Apparently this is the set that is most commonly used in movies. Looks pretty real yah? Like the tour guide said, if you carefully observe across the different movies, you would realise that it's always the same windows with the lights on, the sane streets the actors walk on. But of course if you'd noticed, then you're a freak.

The set from the movie Pyscho. I did take a closer picture of the famous mother-at-the-window but it's quite scary lahh. Don't want you guys to have nightmares. But yeah, an excellent show - do catch it if you have time and wanna be frightened.
We had a fantastic tour of the Grand Canyon. We had to take a bus ride to an airbase where they had little planes to take us to the Grand Canyon. The view was simply breathtaking!! What an experience!! It's just so amazing how God created all these things. Rocks, rivers, valleys everything!

We took a boat ride in the heart of the Grand Canyon. There's a tribe of people that live there, can't remember the name though. They depend on tourism as their major source of income. The boat ride from below gave an excellent view of the mountains from down below.

Taken whilst waiting to catch the bus into the tribal area. My two celebrity sisters and I in action. =)

Rachel and I enjoying the scenery.
Thank you God for making all things bright and beautiful. Beks, Rachel and I visited Six Flags together (w/o the parents). Both of them wanted to go and conquer the most exhilarating theme park in the world. Seriously, roller coasters don't get any worse then this! We were careful to make sure we didn't eat too much before taking the rides as .. you know what I mean ...

The newest attraction of Six Flags - Tatsu. The ride was cheesily themed after some japanese temple looking thingy. Don't know exactly what lahh. But anyways, it was pretty decent. I think we were had pretty high expectations, so it was honestly a bit of a letdown. But do try if you're there!

Another one of those trill rides.

The Lins fooling around with some photos. =)
Okay a little tired now *YAWN* Just got back from a nice dinner with the councillors. Will put up the photos we took soon. Stay tuned for Part 2 USA. School's starting in 9 days time. ARGH.

Elvis And The Sister. First of all, a blessed new year!! Do hope 2007 will be better for everyone! =)
The holiday back home has been good. It's been pretty light, decided that it's time to take a real break and not stress myself out too much running around and meeting as many people as possible. Having said that, I'm glad that I've managed to catch up with those that I want to!
My sister just celebrated her 21st birthday and it was fantastic! It was a 'Superheroes' costume party, so everyone came (well
some did - the birthday girl came in a somewhat dubious character but ANYWAYS) dressed up in all sorts. Well I don't have that many photos yet, am still waiting to get some off other people.

The family picture. Wendy had a nice wig on, will find a picture of that.

Oneline did a little gig for Beks. That went pretty well, we covered a set and then played a few songs for her friends who dedicated them to her.

Two of my favourite ladies =)
Anyways more photos to follow. Still have loads to update on. LA and Vegas went well, met up with the ACMG gang at Villa Bali, had a crazy time over new years with the cell guys. Been pretty good so far. =)
Oh yes, got a new computer. My powerbook finally gave up on me. It's been three years and WOW the technology has improved. Okay I know I sound stoopid but yeah, no more slow recordings!! YAY! Here are some new capabilities of the new MacBookPro. Haha!

Pretty cool huh?

This is ugly ugly ugly.
