What A Weekend!It's been some time since I wrote in here. Wendy said that the egg in my last post looks stoopid, so time to update! Heh! =)
This weekend's great! Started Friday with Jon's birthday celebration. Hmmm I think he got off pretty light this round despite our numerous attempts to get him a little drunk. We went down to Oceana after a couple of drinks at City Dolls and partied the night away.
Okay lahh not quite 'partied' lahh. Spent most of my time in the Paris room chilling with friends.

In the very last desperate attempts to knock Jon out, Su and I (yes, Su's part of it as well!) decided to mix some alcohol for him. He did sense something wrong but it was kinda too late. Here's the evidence!

I forced myself to bed right after I got home cos' I had to get up early the next morning. We had a little mini council gathering in Bath on Saturday. Chio (leeds), Rongxuan (Oxford), Martin (London) and I met for a nice English lunch at some cosy retaurant at Bath's city centre. Poor Moky (Cambridge) had some seminar to prepare for and thus, couldn't join us for the trip.
There we go, the magnificient 27th!
We walked the streets, did some sight-seeing and more importantly, shot some video footages! Stay tuned for more!! It was great fun!! A little like the last time at NY with the Crazy Four. Here's part two of 'Councillors Going Mad".
Chio and I paid to enter the Roman Baths. It was quite an experience! I've decided that it makes more sense to purchase an audio guide when visiting stuff like this. Cos' you actually gain a lot more thru' that then just looking at the sites/sights.

Came back to Bristol at night for a nice supper at Mayflower. Stayed in and talked the night away, with some wine and soothing jazz in the background. Perfect way to spend the night. =)

Honk! The Musical.
I attended a meeting for all interested parties who were keen on taking part in the Manor Hall production - Honk! The Musical. It's a yearly production to get the residents of the hall involved in music and dance. Pretty cool!! I did Oklahoma with them two years back so it should be fun this year too!! =)
MSSA held its first event last friday which turned out pretty good! It was really nice to meet up with all the rest of the Bristol people again after so long! Headed down to Greenhouse for drinks after. Met some of the Freshers as well, nice bunch of people - just working a little too hard for the start of term - I mean, not that studying is bad or anything. You know what I mean.

Back To Manor.Wahh I was so tired yesterday. I think the full effects of the jet lag got to me last night! But to be fair I got up at 430am and was up to 11pm last night. Life back in Manor is good, and different in some ways! But it's great to be back. I was warmly greeted with the lousy pathetic england weather.
There was a light drizzle when I got back into Bristol and whilst on the taxi back to hall, it becamse a huge downpour. That's not funny at all lahh!! Was totally drenched!! Well not totally but it just wasn't nice lahh.
Anyways some pictures from the remaining days in Singapore. =)
Had a nice night out with the cell at Brewerkz. Had a few pints and chilled over dinner. Thanks guys for everything. It's been great hanging out over Summer and I know that God will see us through this whole period. Hang on guys!!! =)
We had a good meal (thanks to Adrian's recommendations) at this Indonesian restaurant at Esplanade. SO much food!! From the pictures we can see who's better at eating. Hehe.

A big thank you to my best friend for the beer afternoons! Stay strong yah? We'll all be back in a bit!! And I'll pass you the photos we took. Promise! Here's a nice one though =)
Stay tuned for the next number by Overtones. Over Summer, we got together to do another chinese hit. It's in the midst of edit now and should be out (hopefully!) by end month. It was a lot of fun recording!! Must do more over the next few holidays!
